4th Cavalry Regiment Association Reunion

Subject: 4th Us Cavalry Regimental Association Reunion
The 4th Us Cavalry Regimental Association will be meeting on 26 July at Fort Riley, KS for a regimental reunion.

All persons having served, past and present, are encouraged to attend. The reunion is being hosted by the 1st and 5th squadrons. A tentative itinerary follows:
0830 -1130 Trip to Abilene to visit the Eisenhower museum
1130-1300 Lunch on your own
1300-1500 Static Display (Equipment and Facilities) and Quarterhorse Museum
1500-1630 U.S. Cavalry Museum
1630-1800 Open-time
1800-2000 Reception/Dinner for veterans, active duty,and spouses.

Presentation of awards for Distinguished Members of the Regiment will be presented at the dinner.
Lodging will be available at the Junction City Marriott Convention Center in Junction City, Kansas.
Please call 785-210-1500 for making reservations at the Courtyard by Marriott in Junction City. Remember to mention the 4th Cavalry Reunion for the room rate.

This event is being conducted in conjunction with the BRO (Big Red One) Society Reunion being held in KansasCity, KS 26-29 July 2017. If you will be attending the Society reunion Several options exist in this schedule.
  1. You can go straight to the Abilene Museum, or 
  2.  you can join the group at Ft Riley at 1300, or
  3. you can car-pool from Kansas City, MO, leaving at about 1000 and go straight to the 1300 Static Display.
LTG Bob Wilson, Armor retired, has been confirmed as the guest speaker for the reunion. LTG Wilson served the Regiment during Desert Storm (90-92) as commander of the Quarterhorse. He followed that serving as the 1ID G3. His cavalry experience didn't end with 1-4 Cav.. He also served as commander of the 3rd ACR during 1994-96.
We look forward to LTG Wilson's participation at our reunion.
